Hotels & Casino´s : The Mirage

The Mirage is newly-renovated with a AAA Four Diamond rating. The Mirage was introduced as a “destination resort" to the Las Vegas Strip in 1989. The Mirage upgraded beginning in 2005 and continuing through 2007, which included the addition of new restaurants, a nightclub, a modern gaming area, and more!

The Mirage is always busy with people being tourists and seeing the sights, especially the tigers. The clientele is a bit older, but there weren't many families.

The rooms are average sized rooms. They are appointed with modern rich colors. The bathrooms are nice and full of marble and nice very cool lighting around the mirror. The bedding is very comfortable. The suite we stayed in was large, with nice accessories, large couches, and a sweet TV.

We were impressed with the service. Every time we asked for any thing extra on the casino floor, we were always granted our wishes.

The pool is one of the best, so it is crowded on weekends. It is for hotel guests only. The pools are heated and open all year round. The Mirage has a top-optional pool area called Bare, and it costs extra to get in.

Secret Garden of Siegfried and Roy ($10 charge but children under 10 are free) features six rare animals, plus dolphin habitat with 1.5 million-gallon pool. 20000-gallon saltwater aquarium at reception area. There is a 24-hour royal white tiger habitat viewing area.

Make sure you check out The Beatles LOVE, a Cirque du Soleil show. The Beatles Love is a great show and we recommend seeing it especially if you know anything about The Beatles.
