Quality is key at Canter's. Fresh bread baked twice daily, and the rye bread is the one you want. Potato salad, cole slaw, egg salad, turkey salad, and knishes are also made in-house. It has been around and going strong since 1924, with quite the reputation. It's usually very busy, so go early and go hungry for a quick bite to eat that is also a good value.
